Kickin' Up the Prairie Dust, the war horses are out on the prairie having some fun! Just look at them go! They could be the chief's favorite ponies, letting their exuberance come through. They're a bit like Ledger horses in their style. It has many layers with acrylic mediums and collage and paint techniques. A lovely addition to your southwest decor.
This painting is on a half inch thick stretched canvas, painted black around the outside edges. The surface is rich and textured from many layers. 16X16 inches in size. Ready to hang, no need for framing, but could be framed if you choose after it is yours.
I don't accept returns or exchanges all sales are final. I Usually ship either the day I get the order, or the next day, depending upon when our post office is open. I do have to use business days and can't ship on weekends because our post office is closed weekends.
Keep in mind computer monitors vary and show colors in different ways, the colors you see here may not exactly match the painting you recieve but I try to represent the paintings with the best photos I can.
I use recycled packaging materials to try to keep some waste out of the dumps. I hope it helps the environment a bit.
If you have any questions, or concerns please ask before you purchase. I am having a bit of a time sorting out the spam messages I'm getting here now, but if your questions are legitimate, I think I can tell. I'm happy to visit with you about the painting. I don't respond to telephone messages asking me to call.
My work is also represented by Paris Gibson Museum, Great Falls, Mt and Equis Art Gallery, Red Hook, New York and can be purchased through each of those places. The artwork in those galleries, is not here on Etsy. If you go to the Equis Art gallery website, you can see many more paintings of the southwest horses. Just google the gallery, and click my name under artists represented.
You can find a link to my website where there's a blog that shows you other things we do on the internet in the About section of this shop.
