Buckskin, An original acrylic painting by Donna Ridgway. It has soft colors and many layers which show through. This is a faux encaustic technique, where I mix acrylic mediums to achieve a softened effect behind the horse. The canvas the horse is painted on is flat, and mounted to mat board so it appears to float, the mat board is painted black and surrounds the horse. The frame's outside measurements are aprox 11 by 9 inches in size. There's no glass on this framing option, and if the painting ever needs dusting, I use a feather duster or a soft paint brush.
I don't accept returns or exchanges all sales are final. I Usually ship either the day I get the order, or the next day, depending upon when our post office is open. I do have to use business days and can't ship on weekends because our post office is closed weekends.
I use recycled packaging materials to try to keep some waste out of the dumps. I hope it helps the environment a bit.
